PLU09970400 Plumbing Kit Dually Pump Retrofit 2"

Cal Spas has designed this kit to replace the dually pump with a single pump. Some have issues with lack of filtration, imbalance of jet pressure, or excessive noise after the conversion. By making a few changes to this kit and the addition of a few valves, most if not all of those concerns can be addressed.

• Using pump 34-402-5252 Pump, Aqua Flo XP2e, 3.0hp, 230v, 2-Spd, 56fr, 2", OEM
• Install 2" Ball Valve 26-395-1320 on suction line (Not the Filter Line).
• This valve will be slightly closed (trial and error) to ensure proper filtration on low speed.
• Install 2" Ball Valve 26-395-1320 on the two return lines.
• After startup one or the other valve can be adjusted to equalize the flow between banks of jets as customer requires.
• (Optional) Install 2" Gate Valve 26-395-1036 on suction line going to filter.
• By closing all 4 valves equipment can be serviced without draining spa.
• Once Spa is setup and working correctly you may want to remove handles to keep system from being inadvertently adjusted.
