Waterway has made changes to this product and it now includes the new one piece nut and two threaded rings... (505-1960 R5 and 505-1960-OS R7) 505-1960 R5 is for all applications and should be used first. If there are any fit issues, this indicates you have an older sand filter body and would need to use the R7 version.
