In case of obstruction of suction fitting openings, the differential pressure causes air to be pulled into the pump suction line. As a result, the pump will lose prime and breaks the vacuum behind the suction cover. The Waterway Hi Flo Spa Suction is easy to install and service. 2 3/8" hole size – 3.5” 20 GPM Hi-Flo Suction Assembly. Add a Vacuum Break Fitting to increase flow rating to 92 GPM.
